Fischer Brot
ESA Software ensures production.
The traditional company Fischer Brot is one of Austria's leading suppliers of bread and baked goods and produces around 40,000 tons of baked goods annually at its sites in Upper and Lower Austria.
The successful collaboration between Fischer Brot and ESA began in 2002 with the integration of an automated control system in the then newly built Pichling plant. The system has undergone several stages of development in recent years and is state of the art.
ESAweight process control system for Fischer Brot in figures
The task of the ESAweight process control system for Upper Austria included the simultaneous removal of flour and the dosing and weighing on four lines. In Lower Austria, the task focused on three automatic lines and one manual dosing station.
Thanks to superior cooperation, open exchange and technical expertise, tailor-made solutions were developed for the production requirements. ESAweight was configured at the Upper Austria site for 4 silos, each with a capacity of 65 m³, with intermediate containers and moving floor discharge with three passage gates each. At the Lower Austria site, the ESA systems currently control 2 silos, each with a capacity of 64m³. After several successfully implemented projects, we are looking positively to the future and are pleased to be able to contribute our expertise to future projects at Fischer Brot.
A tradition of quality
Fischer has been producing bread of the highest quality for its customers for over 60 years, always keeping its finger on the pulse. The growing quality requirements and new international standards are continuously incorporated into improvements to the production facilities. An excellent process control system, including its software modules, is necessary to master the high challenges. ESA has been a welcome partner here for many years.

Being an Austrian company, we are particularly pleased to have found a domestic partner in ESA, who can provide us with individual, tailor-made solutions to simplify and speed up processes. After successfully implementing several projects, we will continue to rely on ESA's expertise and professionalism in the future.
