Higher productivity and state-of-the-art dosing control
The task of J. Recheis Teigwaren GmbH was to replace the existing recipe and silo data management with a modern process automation.
In order to ensure the additional requirement of a short commissioning time during ongoing production, industry-specific knowledge and detailed planning of the conversion phase were necessary.
Investment in a modern control system
Part of the order was the requirement that the new control system can be operated fully automatically and according to the latest production methods of industrial processing. To guarantee the consistency of product quality and user-friendliness, operation of the system should be as simple as possible. The entire concept was realized in close cooperation with the customer based on the powerful ESAweight 7.5 production control system and a Simatic S7 control system.
Central management of all data and permanent control
The entire existing control cabinet structure remained intact, only the aging weigh computer was replaced by Siwarex weighing components. The connection to the computer system runs via Ethernet almost in real time. All peripheral devices such as discharge systems, scales, and autonomous control units were integrated into the system via Profinet. This guarantees both central management of all data and permanent online control. Remote access via VPN allows Recheis and ESA quick access to the system. Integration with the existing ERP system for online data exchange of order and production data completes the overall functionality.
